That looks much, much better. Wow. The rear with that body color valance has an almost exotic look. They should all be like that.

True. That would put the 5.0 at 440hp. Enough to be ahead of the 2014-2015 Camaro SS. Now when the 2016 Camaro comes with the LT1 at 450hp (maybe?), then the 5.0 will get a bump again in hp to probably 470hp. Just enough to stay ahead...

I snorted when I read this.
I have actually used it to charge...pretty poorly I might add. What can I even use it for? I dont have the EP.

Never mind that there is no way a single piston floating caliper can put perform a 4 piston fixed caliper Brembo it looks like crap to boot. The Mustang going back as far as I can remember (at least the late 70's) has always skimped on suspension/brakes/wheels/tires. At least now they are making a concerted effort to get a suspension under the car but they still (from reading this article) are skimping on brakes, wheels and tires. It makes no difference to me I have a 1LE with ZL1 brakes on it. So my car has paid attention to all of the above aspects of a performance vehicle. I'll add power to my liking.

It just dawned on me you have a ZL1 and a GT500 (good for you, seriously I'm a little jealous) which car stops better and more times. Everything I have read says your ZL1 does.

Rear brakes aren't much of an issue if you only go 1/4 mile at a time. If you want to Road Course they need to be a little better. I'm glad the new one can fit bigger tires. The current always seems to have trouble fitting bigger tires. Well that's what the local Mustang guys have told me at least.

No the '14-'15 Camaro doesn't have more power. I was just comparing the refreshed years because they will be the ones around the same time the 2015 Mustang comes out. But yes the '10-'15 Camaro SS all have 426hp.

Listen this Mustang will be nice but it's fatter than it was and it didn't gain much power and it's still weak on TQ. The looks are subjective too. So until it actually wins a race don't be so smug. You act like this is 2002 and Camaro production has stopped, and it won't get any better. You know it's just a matter of time until an LT1 is sitting between the fenders of an SS albeit will most likely be a 6th Gen. When the next Camaro debuts I'm confident it will head in the right direction in more categories. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk

And, possibly even a drag race specific "package"... We shall see. The new Stang looks better than the old one, a little more progressive, and if the quality is built in, and not just cosmetics, it could give a Gen 6 a run for the money regarding front page news. I hope and suspect GM is preparing well. It would be good to see some Camaro Disciples comment on this!!
