Unthinkable trade.

Trading my 2010 2SS/RS M6, RJT today for a 2011 E550 4Matic. We have a new baby, I live in Pittsburgh, and it will now sit...for months.

We are also trading my wife's cruze. We are keeping my Grand Cherokee, but I wanted to have a cool family hauler. The Benz has extended warranty through 2016 and 39,000 miles. It's a sport, so 18's, suspension, cross drilled rotors, etc.

My heart kind of hurts, but, it saves us a car payment a month and its still pretty sweet.

Going at 3PM EST, so....yeah, I have to turn in my bowtie!

I wouldn't have either, but the W212 EClass is a badass looking sedan. The numbers were too good and the Camaro is only depreciating like crazy. I know I can get another 5th Gen someday, (ZL1

Nah new family. Nice sports sedan, been looking for a while but finally found a deal worth accepting.

Saving money too. Can't beat that.

ran a service shop for benz and bmw. they are mechanically garbage. that 39k warranty is not nearly enough. best of luck, good looking car though

Warranty is through July 2016 or 100,000 miles whichever comes first.

Appreciate the insight. What is so mechanically bad that I should worry about? It's a 2011, when did you last service a 2011 EClass? Just looking for info. If you can give me a real reason why I should be terrified of this car, I will take it into account. I don't take delivery until 3PM so I have time.
