For a DA polisher, you can go either the PC 7424xp or the Griots Garage DA. They're both great polishers but the Griots has a just a tiny bit more power and comes with a lifetime warranty as well. Although your other option would be to find something used. I bought my PC used for a deal. This will be your biggest expense.

After that it's just polishes and pads. I personally recommend the Optimum Hyper Compount and Optimum Hyper Polish. They're extremely easy to use and work really well. For pads I'd recommend some microfiber ones over foam. Foam will finish a lot better but you won't notice the difference unless you're going for a 100% showroom finish. I'd recommend buff and shine 5.5" Cutting and Finishing Pads. You can do 2 of each and you should be good for the whole car.

For some final protection (ie. wax or sealant) I HIGHLY recommend Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection. It's a sealant that will give you about 4-6 months of protection and is extremely easy to apply. You could also do a wax on top of that but it's not completely necessary. It's really up to you.

So about how much am I looking at for this lol

If you pay full price for everything probably 250. But autoanything carries the Griots Garage DA Polisher so we know you can get 15% off when they run their promotion as well as free shipping so that's a plus and if you send me a pm I can get you the code for 15% off autopia-carcare.com or you can wait when they run their sales which is quite often and they'll give you a percentage off with free shipping as well so that'd be the best time to buy things. You can save substantially if you buy with sales.

I paid slightly more than that for all of my adams stuff. I bought all of my stuff during their spring sale last year got a whole bunch of stuff for around 200 and then bought the porter cable for 100 new on amazon when they had it on sale.

Do want to add I am by no means trying to say go with adams, just go with what ever you think is best.

Definitely. Only thing is Adam's has phased out the PC line already. Now they have the FLEX and that other Ortho Polisher and their stuff is kinda more tailored to that. I'd definitely try to get anything you can on sale to save up.

While I do agree they have phased out the PC All their new stuff is still compatible with it. They claim the only reason they dropped it was because of a decline in quality and where the PC is made.

Yes, true. But a lot of what made the adam's pc kit very enticing was the adam's no hassle warranty and 110% money back guarantee. Now that they no longer offer the PC, that's gone. Not to mention yes the Adam's stuff is good but you can get a lot of things that are better for less money. In no way am I saying Adam's is no good because we all know their detail spray is absolute gold but a lot of their other things are either kinda expensive for what they are or there are far better products out there.

I agree with you. I know that Adams is not the best and nor are they the cheapest out there i just have a personal preference to their products. Personally to me their customer service is worth the extra amount. Plus they really support the Forum quite a bit.
