I need to do a paint correction or swirl/haze remover on mine. After 30k miles there are some decent swirls I just don't know if I want to spend so much on a paint correction kit from Adams....

Well what are you looking to do? It'll help me give you a product recommendation. What's your budget? I assume keep under the adam's kit?

Sorry but ABSOLUTELY NOT. After you learn how to do it, you also learn just how easy it is to do it. If you have just a bit of time it's easy to do it yourself and you don't have to dish out the money everytime you need a little part corrected.

Okay well you'll need a DA polisher, some pads, polish, compound, and some protectant. Give me a moment and I'll pull some stuff up real quick.

Homeless people don't have places to wash and polish their cars. I also don't have the supplies to do it. It was a one time thing because of my situation.

Okay well here we go:

For a DA polisher, you can go either the PC 7424xp or the Griots Garage DA. They're both great polishers but the Griots has a just a tiny bit more power and comes with a lifetime warranty as well. Although your other option would be to find something used. I bought my PC used for a deal. This will be your biggest expense.

After that it's just polishes and pads. I personally recommend the Optimum Hyper Compount and Optimum Hyper Polish. They're extremely easy to use and work really well. For pads I'd recommend some microfiber ones over foam. Foam will finish a lot better but you won't notice the difference unless you're going for a 100% showroom finish. I'd recommend buff and shine 5.5" Cutting and Finishing Pads. You can do 2 of each and you should be good for the whole car.

For some final protection (ie. wax or sealant) I HIGHLY recommend Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection. It's a sealant that will give you about 4-6 months of protection and is extremely easy to apply. You could also do a wax on top of that but it's not completely necessary. It's really up to you.

I understand that but for someone that does have a place to do it, I wouldn't recommend they pay so much to get it done.

I don't think KJ has a place to do it.
