I love the posts that say: "Man up and get a lawyer." Manning up is paying the fine.

I agree with the people that say you need to take responsibilities for your actions. When I play, I know I do so with the consequence I may get cited for doing so. I accept that responsibility. But then again, I would also leave a note if I hit someone's car that wasn't around. Unfortunately, I'm in the minority these days. It's easier to just run away like a little coward, yet cry like a little bitch if it happens to you.

Wanna be a man? Act like a man and don't try and weasel out of the situation you got yourself into…

Sometimes when you break the law you get punished. Yeah, I know, life is so unfair…

In Georgia, you would pay the ticket (probably at least several hundred $$) PLUS a "Super Speeder" fine of an additional $200. I feel no sorrow for you - that's just too damn much over the limit, regardless of what others are doing.

For all you "man up" men! Read the post. Where did he say he was trying to weasel out of it. You all are stating how when you play and mess up then you just "man up" oh get over yourselves. Its his 1st one unlike you all. he's just venting and seeing what options. But I guess just paying full price, getting points is just a better option. Hopefully he now sees what his actions can cost and learns from this but preaching doesn't!
Some of you guys just crack me up!

You're right. The thread had gotten long enough that when I opened it this morning I forgot what his original post was.

Unfortunately, it just seems like everyone is looking for the easy way out of the shit they get themselves into these days…

Really! Are you actually looking for sympathy? It sounds like you knew it was a 45 MPH zone and yet you were intentionally speeding. At 44 MPH over you just need to suck it up quit whining about it a pay the fine. You deserve what you got!

I honestly didn't know it was a 45. If you read back further I even stated that the cop told me he gives people 20 to 30 mph leeway on the road before he thinks about going after them. The road is a 3 lane exit that runs parallel to the actual highway for like 2 miles. It's literally looks just like the highway.

I normally don't speed. I just got caught opening the engine on the highway with no cars around but the 3 patrol cars that happened to be hiding in the darkness.
