I can't help but notice that every single aftermarket bumper I've seen in CGM just doesn't match when painted. if it was close, I wouldn't mind it but it's not close and I'd hate for mine to end up like that. Not only that but autosource didn't have a sale so I don't want to spend that much for a bumper that may or may not match

Gotcha. The only detailing product I got because of black friday is Ultima Waterless Wash. I bought it off of CD07's recommendation guide and used it yesterday and was pretty happy with it.

With what happened with the autosource deal, I may just buy a gm gfx splitter and paint it black...unless there is some good feedback from the autosource one. The v6 bumper is growing on me for whatever reason and will look awesome once I complete that plus my GFX already.

Hell yeah, somebody bought my plenum spacer.

Really? I don't know why I just can't seem to like the v6 bumper.

I think (at least my set up) looks aggressive with the black heritage grill, and just needs a black splitter to finish up the front. And once the whole GFX is complete i can focus on lowering it and better wheels and tires.

Just got a quote from a shop to get my wheels powder coated black. $500 includes everything: strip, coat, dismount/mount and balance. Plan to do that while we travel to Disney Land with my in-laws next weekend. After that it'll be exhaust and CAI and then some vinyl or a hood/truck wrap and a spoiler.

Yo did you ever make that outline i asked of it?

Also I think i am pretty much gonna keep my stock v6 bumper and just add a GM gfx splitter. It just sucks my bumper is already all ****ed up with rock chips and even apparently has a stained in the clear coat that won't come out.

Thats what i was going to suggest actually lol just repaint, clear bra then add the GM splitter, black would be cool. Color matching is so overdone…imo

Color-matching never crossed my mind cause it would look stupid! Order placed finally...I'm gonna have a hand full of boxes delivered to my door the next week or so
