Newb from Louisiana via TN

I'm new to cam 5. I've had a gen 3 iroc z. Loved that car. Currently the proud owner of a gen 5. I'm from Louisiana but now live in TN. I was a member of ls1tech up until today. I asked the moderators to delete my profile over there. Waiting on that to happen. I find you guys to be more my kind of ppl.
I bought my 2010 2SS back in April. I got it as a repo. It came with a k&n cai but I'm replacing it with a CAInductions that I got from a member on here.. magnaflow cat back, spohn toe links, eibach lowering springs, spohn rear sway bar, Hurst shifter, skip shift eliminator, under car led light kit, and a custom sub in the trunk. His loss my gain I guess. Sorry you lost your car bro..it's sick!!
I recently bought a set of stainless arh's and a level 1 twin disc monster. I've read lots of threads and made a few posts already. Thanks guys and gals for being cool enough to share your knowledge and experience without passing judgement to us newbs for asking tons of questions!!

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Hey kidd79, welcome! Nice ride too! Silver, black strips and lowered! Have you thought about wheel spacers to bring the tires to the fender edges? I did and it's night and day - 22mm rear and 24mm front. I had to grind off 1/4" from the original rear studs though so they didn't hit the spacers. http://www.sfxperformance.com/mmy/20...Spacers/search

Thanks bro. I'm glad to be here :-) I haven't thought about spacers yet. I don't think I'm going to be keeping the stock wheels. Although they are nice, I'm planning on putting my flavor on it as far as wheels go. Was thinking about getting a set with the offset that'll push the wheels further out. Thanks fir the link. If I can't find the right set, those spacers will definitely be an option. :-)
