I don't blame you GQ. Whenever I park someone always feels the need to park as close to my driver door as possible.

so far luckily with vette.. I have been parking in the back but someone always parks right next to me.. But they have been all the way over on their other white line.. So far been car guys that want to see if it and wouldnt scratch..

When I ordered my C5 there was a factory option for a very nicely done door molding. It was very sleek and did not look like an after-thought. I remember it was $75 right on the Corvette option list-not aftermarket.
When I ordered my C7 a couple of weeks ago, I specifically looked for something similar. There is no longer such an option-too bad.

I have noticed that if I must park between two vehicles to pick luxury vehicles that are clearly well taken care of. I have been doing this with my Escalade for years and noticed that they have no desire to hit my car because they care about theirs just as much. So, when all else fails I try to do that. It seems to work when I find situations like that.

Yep…people will automatically assume you're an a$$hole and mess with your car. I don't blame you for parking that way assuming it's way out in the back 40, but others get pissy about it.
