If I had money to piss away id buy one just for prolly how exclusive its going to be and I do like the look of the GTR its different than anything else on the road it may not have that sexy shape of Astons or edginess of a lambo but it is its own thing and that is awesome!.

These "ring" runs (they should call them "ringer" runs), should be taken with a grain of salt.

That time is a "massive lie," according to Car Throttle.

". . . these parts will be made available to customers . . . "

If these end up being options, what's the big deal?

They needed to add some excitement to the GTR's lineup. It's aging.

the big deal is this...

Quote:
NISMO engineers, who confessed that the car had also been specifically tuned for the Nurburgring
which means the parts you can buy wont get your car capable of running that time. so the time it poseted is pointless. well, not pointless...its an incredable time for sure! but its no longer considered a production car, ya know? for the time to be considered it needs to basically be the exact car you can buy off the showroom floor, although they always add a roll cage which is understandable.

so now you can no longer compair a tuned GTR to a stock Z/28 per say. ya know what i mean?

They didn't run a cage in this car as you can clearly see in the video.

If the suspension is adjustable, then tuning it for the track you're running is what everyone will do, no? The article isn't really clear. Are they talking about an engine tune? If that's the case, you don't really change much for different tracks in an engine tune. . . I wish there was more clarity here.
