People are selling use Vita's pretty reasonably, and I'm willing to bet someone will have a huge sale on them before black friday.

Momma didn't bronze my shoes, but when I turned 16 I inherited a lead foot.

Anyone else try that game contrast?

It is so strange and interesting at the same time, crossing into shadows and back to cross a void, which happens to look like outer space but you're in the middle of a town in the 50's

I just got remote play to actually work outside of the house. I just went through menus and stuff, so I dunno what the game lag will be like...But still...Kinda cool. I'm sure Sony will continue to optimize it through firmware updates and whatnot as well.

How to hug your camaro
Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

All of this just reaffirms my commitment to buy digital only. I waivered, but when nobody would actually honor their sales, I just decided I was done. I've been buying digital only on Steam for a LONG time.

I'm starting to feel like I'm gunna be doing this more often and buy digital as well, I wouldn't have the problem I'm having with nfs and won't have any game boxes all over the place

It's nice to download digitally but I feel like I there should be some sort of savings passed on to the consumer. You don't get the disc, the box, paperwork, they save money on shipping and stocking into retail stores. Or at least make it worth our while and give us something extra for the game included in the same price that would cost a disc bought owner more. All of these companies are trying to be green, paperless billing and such, well printing isn't cheap. Why should we help you save money while we still get charged the same?

I have a couple of thoughts on this, and I actually agree with you for the most part. Overhead compared to a store is certainly less, but space and bandwidth still come at a cost. Not to mention the materials you mention don't really come with most games anymore. I can't remember the last time I bought a disc based PS3 game that had more than an activation card in it for online multiplayer (another hassle in itself).

Something I love about Steam (and to a lesser extent, PS Plus), is that when they have sales on digital games, they have SALES. They get WAY cheaper than any physical copy of the same games that I've ever seen. Just last month, Sony had The Last of Us on the PSN store for $30 to PS Plus members, which was crazy cheap at the time. I bought Ico and Shadows of Collusus in HD for $2 each during a sale. That HD collection is still $20-$30 retail.

I never purchased a game in the store yet, does it charge you tax? I know on add-on content it's been tax free just wondering

I can't remember for sure, but I don't think so (I know that's not much of an answer). I looked at my e-mail from when I bought Killzone and they added $59.99 to my wallet, so I believe that they do not charge tax.
