That black box is the lighting relay. Isn't part of the zl front end lighting?

I'm pretty sure that is not a stock piece and it is part of the front end lighting switch a roo.

Do any of you all use a RX breather? i have one sitting on my desk at home and i never put it on because there was some controversy about how it was bad for our cars. if you do use one, is there a difference in performance??
All i have on the car right now is a AirAid CAI and a Trifecta tune.

I wouldn't put it on. I had one for a while because I have the Vararam intake and didn't want to use their cluster-f**k clean-side breather set-up. The air that enters through the RX breather is not from a source that has been measured by the MAF, so it basically represents a leak and can affect the idle and possibly fuel trims. I never had an issue, but some have. Additionally, It has a check-valve in it that restricts flow out of the crankcase under WOT when a proper set-up should allow airflow in both directions when needed. Oh, and it leaks oil. 'Nuff said...
