It has wireless, but you will get much better performance in multiplayer games with a hardwire. Especially in games like COD. Oh I should add that there were some in stores today, so go look around and see if you can get lucky.

Kind of what I figured. Going to need to run a wire (needed to anyway for TV) I'm headed out in a bit to find one.

Try playing a competitive fighter where frames matter (like street fighter IV). That's where wireless starts to fail. If comboing in games like that are fine, I'll believe in wireless. For games where split second (literally) timing doesn't matter, wireless should be more good.

Yeah, well if you can pull off epic combos with the Vita's controls, you might be a fighting game god. LOL

Don't have any fighting games, and I don't plan on getting any. I have been using it in Killzone though and it has been fine.

Much closer to PC. I'll be able to tell better when I put in BF4 as I have been playing that on PC with an Nvidia GTX 780 on ultra. In Killzone there's some aliasing, but the textures are MUCH better than current gen.

I don't have a vita, but do pretty well with a controller. I make my own joysticks for consoles though.
