Here's Sony's statement

"We strongly recommend that Remote Play be used within the same WiFi network where PS4 is connected. Remote Play may or may not work over a wide area network. For Remote Play to function over a wide area network, a robust and stable WiFi connection and broadband Internet connection is required, and the local area network where PS4 is connected must be configured to permit the PS Vita system to access PS4."

That's the part that's weird to me, if I have a strong connection at for my instance work, why wouldn't it work for me?

No one is saying it won't work, just don't be surprised if it doesn't. Most companies go through a lot to keep other people from using their wifi or from eating up the bandwidth. I've also seen companies install firewalls and restrictions on their routers to prevent people from playing games.

So apparently PS4 controllers are now available at GameStop. Saw them at my local GameStop when I picked up Assassin's Creed Black Flag.

The ds4 works with the ps3 so you can try it out if you want.

I have heard it works with some stuff, but isn't universally supported. I can't think of a scenario in the last 10 years where I've wished I had a second controller, so I haven't bothered to pick one up.
