New To the forum and...

New to the forum and new to the American built car world. The Camaro is the only car I have driven that was American that I fell in love with. Rented a 2013 for about a month for work....nice!

Had to turn in my 230K mile Toyota Camry a few days ago and got a great deal on a 2010 2LT/RS Black Camaro here in PA. Only had 350 miles on it.

So a few questions:

How/where do I create a signature pic like most of you have?

Where can I find the ideal oil temp, trans temp etc (all the gauges under the radio). Stupid? Probably but i would like to know

What is the fastest, someone with the same engine and package that I have, has gotten their car up to. I was only able to get the loaner up to 118mph before I was governed

Lastly, what are the best mods to do for my car to still retain decent gas milage but create a bit more hp...if possible?

Thanks

Super excited about my car!

Welcome and congrats!

To create sig and avatar, use the User CP found in the navigation on the top. You will see "Homepage", "Garage", "Wiki", "User CP" <<< This is what you want.

Regarding coolant temps, look in your user manual. It's all there.

Rental could only go 118 do to the fact that it was not an RS most likely. Those tires are only rated up to 118ish, so they governed car to that. Your RS is speed limited to 150, but you could tune that out.

I'm sure many people on here have hit that 150 mark with RS.

As far as the mods go, I can't speak for the v6. Check the v6 lounge, I'm sure it's loaded with that info.

Enjoy the ride.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
