I don't think he is the godfather, but he can ask someone to investigate him and not kill that night, that way we are thrown off the trail. If there is 3 mafia members then someone else or the godfather can do the killing that night.

I think though if someone does investigate, him lets say the cop, and he is just a goon the cop will find evidence of him being anti town even if he doesn't do the killing...atleast that is how it has been the past 2 games I have played.

That I am not 100% sure of, I know if he is mafia I will die tonight. This is why I want to get my voice heard. I know he wont be lynched today, so I need to voice what I think.

Clarification post: if the godfather is investigated and is NOT actively doing a night action (killing), he/she will appear as pro-town. If he/she is in the act of killing, then they will show as anti-town.
