Yea it's very similar to aluminum. But I'm sure you can find what you need at lowes or Home Depot. We bought some galvanized aluminum sheets that are much bigger than what you need for not much

I'm not too worried about it. Will have to wait till I have my winter car so i can actually put the sheet of metal in it.

Yea the galvanized sheets that are thin cost about 20 bucks each if they are aluminum they cost about 35. Not sure how thick you need though what we bought was very thin

The lighter the better, plan on carpeting the outside of it and if needed I'll add some sound deadening to kill the in cabin drone
