I heard last night a guy down the street had his garage broken into during the night. who does that with someone sleeping in there and not think they might get shot? and this guy works in Veterans affairs. probably has a gun.

no . I think he used some device that activates the garage door. poor guy got broken into right after he moved in last year too.
I did wake up at 4 am one morning. I kept hearing something. I looked out and saw a car across the street with the door open. and then they drove off with no lights on. I don't know that it was related to the break in but when you see people hanging out at 4 am you know they are up to no good.

most likely was the thief's car, do the police patrol your neighborhood often

I see them every so often, but I wouldn't say regularly. these thief's don't seem to be bothered by anything anymore.
