I moved my sub and amp around in my trunk and while re-wiring I touched the ground wire of the converter to the remote port of amp. I heard a "short" and now the converter won't turn the amp off. What do I do?

Everything else still works. So the amp is fine.
My only idea is that the converters "auto-shut off" shorted itself out.

I need HELP

Take it to a audio shop.

I never used converters so I'm no help. And I haven't done crap with car Audio since like 2003.
