because it's more expensive to keep a v8 for the lifetime of the car. insurance goes up for most, mpg is still less for a v8, even with a modded v6. more oil for a v8.

I love how quick that moron's thread got closed.

Because if I wanted a V8, I woulda got one. I've put 80,000 miles on my car in just over two years; I needed the V6 for my long commute, otherwise fuel would MURDER me.

But what Jason said, too.

My commute is 40 miles; about 45 minutes. When I lived in Florida, though, it was about 20 miles and it took me almost two hours some days. Some old lady from Cape Coma was always having a heart attack on I-75 and causing a pileup.

I've had days where it took me 45 minutes to go 3 miles. i work about 4.4 miles away. i would much rather sit in traffic for a short distance, than fly down the road and working 75 miles away. which is what i did when i lived in florida for a month and a half. lmao

Normally under 20min, but a bad accident on a major artery f-ed up things. Sure glad I have my music library on-board.

My commute is about 20 miles and takes Roughly 40 minuets. But the first 10 miles there literally is only 2 lights and is all open road so most of my commute I am in bumper to bumper traffic.

And Monchy I don't think i could ever trade my V6 in even If I could afford the SS. I know the LLT has it's ups and downs but my Camaro has sentimental value to me. Which is more important than two cylinders.

Same with mine. I love my girl.

Only thing I'd EVER consider trading her for would be a '14 Stingray in that badass blue they've got. And I don't know that I'd consider it very hard.

Exactly how I feel! I wouldn't even care if it was a base model stingray either but it would def be an extremely hard decision.
