so, you know the saying YOLO, and there's a meme that says, false, you live every day, you only die once...well, that's about as stupid as it gets. sure, you live every day, but you don't die at night, so it's still the same life, hence, you only live once.

I've had a couple of people in my life that would do some of the dumbest things under the "YOLO" philosophy, and get themselves into a buttload of trouble (financial/legal/marital...); making their life harder than it had to be AND sucking me or my wife into it to one extent or another. Only for them to turn around and do something like it again after the smoke had cleared - with the same dramatic results. It was great when were finally able to drop them...

Well if I said I haven't used YOLO before I would be lying. But every time I have used it it has been in a sarcastic manner. I have seen someone screaming yolo while car surfing
