You are correct, I was at NCM today and spoke to someone in the know and nothing has shipped.

My guess is the definition of "shipped" is the car was internally transfer to the "transportation department" and is no longer in control of the "production department".

I know it may sound bizzare, but after working in a manufacturing company for 30+ years, you have to understand what all the terms really mean. So "shipped" does not necessarily mean its on a truck. It may simply mean that the production facility is done with the work order. Where of not it got loaded on a truck is a separate issued.

You are also correct, once turned over to transportation contractor they have 10 days to schedule and load.

Again at the NCM today I was told as of today nothing has shipped, but it would be next week. We also saw cars in the back lot wrapped and waiting to be loaded, also some transports were loaded with wrapped cars. Believe me from the very little we could see that back lot is getting loaded with C7s

Well, things are happening. My yellow Z51 Vett has been built. They are really checking them for quality before they are shipped. I can hardly wait and didn't expect it this soon. Getting it through Dave Smith Motors in Idaho at MSRP.

Well, Drake, since you have been using OnStar to track your build's movement, has your bird landed at your dealership?

The rules on the truck driver traveling, taking rest breaks, etc. are federal and as I understand their purpose, are intended to keep the highways safe. I agree these rules sometimes appear to be arbitrary but nevertheless, they are there. And a GPS equipped truck does not leave much room for the driver to finagle.
