Production is finished as of about a month ago. If you find one, and there are plenty out, just make sure you show it. I've seen quite a few new for sale.

2013 model is no longer in production. GM has switch to the 14 model awhile ago.
A few dealership have 2012s and 2013s in stock, you'll just to start looking. (Might be hard since you're in Australia) Good luck though!

The Camaro production cycles run from approximately June to June.

It doesn't matter. The aerodynamics on the ZL1 are model-specific. They have to keep the same classic styling on all future ZL1s. It's going to still look the same.

That is not entirely true, the front is the same and will be because of the aerodynamics, the rear end is the same as the rest of the 14s. So the styling is different. I went after a 13 for that reason.

I was aware of lots of unhappy people with the front end. I think the rear is an improvement, so I wasn't really thinking about this.

It's not aerodynamics specifically as much as it is maintaining air flow through the radiator.

If they could have put the new front clip on the ZL1, I think they would have simply to have one look for the 2014 Camaro.

I thought I remember reading that when the introduced the 2014s.

GM chose to keep the same front end for the 2014 ZL1 so they wouldn't have to re-engineer the entire front end. There are specific air-flow requirements for the supercharged LSA motor.
