No worries man. I don't take anything on the internet seriously. Yeah it sucks. I had to convince her to do chemo...she didn't want to do it because of her hair...I was like really WTF? So she just wrapped up her chemo treatment, had a body scan, found growths in her lungs :( She doesn't want to do chemo again and I can't make her.

I don't take things to serious anywhere lol. I work in Corrections so I deal with cynicism and sarcasm all day. My grandfather went thru 5 rounds of chemo starting at age 58 for lung cancer brought on by agent orange. That son of a bitch was given 6 months. 14 years later he passed away. He was full of piss and vinegar. Knew 7 languages. Did 1 tour in WWII, 3 in Vietnam, and ended with 1 in Korea. Was an amazing man. Miss that bastard. I can only tell you to be positive for her. Don't know how your relationship is but the best thing you can be is her friend. My grandfather went thru all the chemo for his kids and grand kids. He didn't want to say goodbye and knew he was strong enough to fight it. He was even fortunate enough to meet the majority of his grandchildren and a few great grandchildren. Tell her to fight the piss out of it. Hope she gets on the up and up!

We actually have a great relationship....she has always been a fighter but I'll tell you in conversations with her I can tell she is losing her will which sucks.

My ham/inner thigh didn't feel great after squatting last Saturday. So this past Saturday I was warming up like I normally do. Was at my last warm up set at 365...told my GF I was going to stop...just didn't feel right. Was getting out of the shower Sunday night and she said holy s... You have a huge bruise on the back of your leg. I looked...sure enough.

Guess I won't be squatting for a few weeks :( sucks!

Yes and no. Emphasis is always on bar speed, but tonight was primarily a strength program with some conditioning work coming from the limited rest.

Afterwards was our real conditioning workout: increasing ladder of 2 ball slams and 2 burpees (2/2, 4/4, 6/6...etc.) for eight minutes.
