Meaningless. 4 seater against a 2 seater.
Other than a good read, I can't see the purpose of this comparo. |

So you guys are going to tell me that seats determine a performance level? They don't seperate cars by seats when they run the lightning lap at VIR. They are both 2-doors.
Who posted this? Think like this: ZL1, ZR1, 911 turbo, Z28, ZO6, GT3 SS, Base Corvette, 911 If you can follow, you get it.

Thanks again for finding and posting the article. I don't know if you guys noticed but the Shelby was only one of the comparisons for the stingray. They did the viper, the M3, the 911, the GTR also.... I knew that thing was supposed to be good at the track but the results on this are pretty amazing. Imagine what that vette could do if you bolted a supercharger on it and put on some big track tires.....I'm really looking forward to seeing some at my local track and see how they do against my ZL1!

In one magazine FART I mean FORD was trying to compare it to a vette so now the seats matter lol.

Yeah I don't get the seats thing. I mean the lines have blurred, who would have imagined a $56,000 (muscle car, road racer, 1/4 mile demon) would beat a porsche 911 Carrera S and a C63 black series on the track. That it would be 2 seconds behind a $375,000 Lexus LFA. Who would have thought that manual transmissions are becoming a thing of the past. Who would of thought of a 550 HP station wagon. When you read the reviews they don't talk about how many seats it has, they talk about weight to HP and suspension and brakes and tires and rear end. I think the comparisons are getting out of hand, they had no problem comparing a 13 GT500 to a 12 ZL1, I think when you are talking performance you have to get to the basics because the lines are so blurred. What class will they put the Chevrolet SS in when it comes out? I know it probably wasn't fair to compare the GT500 to the Stingray because the dorf can only go in a straight line and has 202 more HP.
