Hi! You're in my neighborhood! Welcome. We get together often in the Atlanta area and attend functions. If you want to check out the southeast thread and the Atlanta lounge. The group has all ages and all kinds of cars.

Hello and Welcome to IkoIko, Ragz1 and Ernie Rossi.

Great Pics Zandron, hope you're feeling better soon.

Good luck at the Car show, Skip!

Looks like a great starter car for your son, Rick!

Jan, Congrats on person best number. Looks like you're enjoying drag racing.

Diane, glad you enjoyed your trip!

Hey Sheriff, Hawaya?

With the site being up and down like a yo-yo, being on-call this week and Having a sick little Cat Critter on my Hands, it seems like I've been away forever.

Max, my 16 year old (80 in people years), had a mild stroke about 3 weeks ago and had come out of it OK but ran into some complications earlier this week with seizures. I suspect he may have been injured, caught in the cross-fire of my other 2 cats rough housing. He spent Tuesday night at the vet's and came home Wednesday night. He's dopey on seizure meds right now. The doc says that'll settle down and expects to take Max off those before the end of next week. In the mean time, Max is eating like a horse (none of this has affected his appetite) which is a good thing, but I'm having to separate everyone into neutral corners when I'm gone.

Work's been tough and I know what you going through Rick, being remote and all the extra hours.

I'm working on Sally and hope to have some surprises to reveal in the next week so.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend.

Max says, "Hi!"
Hi Linda- good to see you back. Still enjoying Dallas. Went line dancing last night at billy bobs. Going to enjoy my last weekend with my friends on a houseboat!

Hi Ernie, welcome aboard!

Glad to see some of my friends checking in, Hi Diane & Linda.

Linda, Hope the kitty is better soon.

I enjoyed driving the truck this morning but that thing is a barge to park! It is 2 1/2-3 feet longer than the Yukon & pretty wide too. It started out a busy morning at work but now I'm getting cancellations for the afternoon but of course not th e last one of the day so I could leave early.

I was finally able to get a hair cut yesterday & it feels soooooooo much better. I was looking pretty shaggy. It looks like the rain will mostly come through tonight so the car show should be fine. Mike really doesn't want us to go though. The entry fee is not cheap & that adds up for 2 cars & we have done car stuff 2 weekends in a row & really need to spend some time with family. But I'd like to bring my Dad out to the car show(since this one is in Clarksville where his assisted living facility is) & get him out a while. We'll see. HAGD everyone.
You and your dad would probably enjoy a show.

I hope Max is feeling better Linda. Jan I have been driving extended cab Silverados for 18 years so I can feel your gas pain. You do get used to the size however I find it easier to back into spaces but I have parking sensors which help a lot in a pickup.

Diane enjoy the rest of your time in Dallas. Good luck with the show Skip. That is a clean looking Cavalier Rick I am sure your son will enjoy his first car.

I am going to Cleveland tomorrow for my final regular season Indians game. They are currently a half game out of a playoff spot. I already sent in my deposit for potential playoff games I just hope they can get there. Maybe this is the year I can finally get to go to a World Series game. It's a real long shot but I guaranteed right to buy tickets if they get there because I am a season ticket holder.

I was glad to be driving Daddy's girl on the way home. It rained fairly hard. It would have been a challenge for the Crossfire but the truck was right at home. It drove good except I got some vibration at about 45 mph. On the way home I decided to hold it at 45 mph a while & see what happened. It got worse for a while then gradually got better & stopped. Then I could not get it to do it anymore. Mike is going to drive it some next week to see it he feels it & if so take it back to the place we got the tires & have it re-checked.

I was driving pick-ups & tractors from when I was in early elementary school around the farm & sometimes on country roads between the farm & the house. It has a familiar and comfortable feel to be driving a truck again.

Sorry Skip. Enjoy your day anyway.

Looks like I will be skipping the car show tomorrow too. It is raining here now but should be clear tomorrow. I am very tired need to sleep in & catch up on my rest. We need to get some stuff done here. I might wash up Daddy's Girl & drive her up & take daddy out to get some ice cream.

There are two local cruises here tomorrow night. Might go to both.

Not sure if I really belong in this particular thread.. I am way way too young at just 50~!
But hey, guess being married to the same gal for well over 20 years is another old fart qualification...

So hey there all you fellow grey haired speed junkies!

Cheers from Boise Idaho...
