At least you got part of it cut down HA ha. I've been trying since march to get a 60 foot silver maple cut down. Had tree differant guys come out. they all gave me prices of around 1,000 plus grind the stump and remove. Can't get any of them to come out to do it. How do you make money driving around looking at jobs and never doing them?

Heck, with all that fresh pecan wood, now would be a good time to buy a smoker. That'd be some good brisket!

Wow... well i can totally relate. we had to cut down our tree so we called a local company and they told us that it would take $1000.00 (just like you). We didnt want to pay that much so we got some one to do it for $200.00. A week later the guy we hired for 200 drops the tree on the power lines. He finished the tree but we had to pay $900.00 something bucks to fix the lines... i could of saved 100 bucks!!! oh well.. hope u clean it up pretty soon.

If he's not in the phone book and hasn't been around for a few years at least, leave him out. It's funny, I have been trying to get my sign at the business changed for a year. Nobody ever follows up. The sign business must be booming.

Well. I got it all cleaned up and hauled off. I think I'm just about chain sawed out. I have an oak tree you can come take care of though.
