That's great! I've always thought a good torque converter, not the RX garbage converter, would net a decent gain. I just don't want to give up too much daily driveability to have one. My car is a DD first and foremost.

And I hate to say it but PMC is wrong. I've seen someone already badge their car as a zl1 because of the bumper and hood insert. Not saying you're doing it, just saying I've seen it. Just don't care enough to get into that argument

do you know who that is? I know I saw someone that looked like they put zl1 on their hood. but it was actually DL1. also, the green Camaro with gold accents doesn't count

Well adding more power can in turn lead to a defective torq converter. The dealer will most likely say since you have added a intake, LTs, exhaust, etc. that you have pushed the converter past its limits and have ruined it. It's a very stupid excuse that could be true but most likely was not what caused it. Unless you have a mod friendly dealer I don't see it being covered.

And according to this site the Trifecta tune can't be hidden completely on the autos. There is a flash log in the TCM that will let them know you are tuned.
