What makes me mad
Does anyone else cringe and get mad when they hit potholes? I try and avoid them at all costs, but when it happens I get very pissed off at the county of which I'm in. It always sounds like something breaks every time I hit one. I guess the lowering springs/strut tower brace/upgraded sway bars doesn't help.

You would think with all the road construction going on in our area this problem would be solved. Thats our good ole tax dollars at work. I hate em thats why its rare I drive in the city

When they fix them up here in jersey they just add a shit load of asphalt...so now the pothole is a speed bump! Just as bad.

I try to avoid them. I drive larger vehicles though so hitting them isn't as big of an issue.

Road maintenance is often paid predominately through fuel taxes. If fuel taxes don't go up to match the increased cost of materials and workers, you end up with work simply not being done at all or cheap fixes (like hand shovelled asphalt patches and plywood 'concrete catchers' under bridges) instead of proper ones (replacing the roadway).

I prefer not to hit them but it would be ridiculous IMO to let myself waste time getting mad.
