um traditionally August and September are the hottest months of the year from New Mexico west to SoCal..

Pretty Normal IMO..

I can handle it. I much prefer enduring 100*+ summer temps vs winters in the northeast.

I hear ya man a lot easier said then done to just pick up and move!

I'm in upstate NY and I'm in a similar situation, I can't stand the winters more and more each year ..really sucks when I got to take my ride off the road.
So needless to say it could be worse.. hey just stay in that AC and all's good..
