Hi gang!

Finished my wife's car today. Even got a compliment as to how awesome it looked! I have vacation coming up in 3 weeks, so I will do my Camaro and Dakota that week, if I don't think of something better to do.

A few months ago, I installed FE4 SS front and rear sway bars and new, OE end links. Let me start by saying it was a definite upgrade in performance with these pieces! Before the switch, the rear of the car always seemed to want to swing around when cornering hard. If definitely leaned more! After installing the FE4 pieces, the rear felt much more planted, but the front seemed to plow. I expected it to be much firmer. I can't install the SS springs on FE2 struts and shocks, so I had to think of another fix.

I think I've got it dialed in now, or at least have taken a step in the right direction. I raised the front tire pressure to 37 PSI and left the rears at 36 PSI. Feels much more balanced now, like the front is not plowing. I wanted to push the car harder, but my son was riding with me and he gets scared when I corner hard. But so far, it does feel better.

Since I'm off tomorrow, I'm going to give the Camaro a bath.

There is a Nascar themed go cart track not far from the campground maybe I will go try that today as I would like to stay off the beach during the heat of the day. I got a bit too much sun yesterday and have a minor sunburn that I don't want to make worse. I hope everyone has fun the rest of the holiday weekend.

He made ribs, chicken wings & brats. My mother-in law made the german dishes, corn-on-the-cob & Mac & cheese. Then for dessert, watermellon, cheese cake, German macaroons, Ice cream & home whipped whiping cream. It was 6:00 when we took daddy back to the assisted living facility. He did not get overtired, disoriented, irritable or even really seem like he had altzheimer's except for sometimes having a hard time formulating his thoughts or remembering things he otherwise would.

I just got to thinking this morning that the in-laws house if not that far from the assisted living place & if there was a problem we could just take him back. I called & asked my mother-in-law what she thought & she said to bring him. It was only a high of 84 today after the morning showers so pleasant to sit outside around the pool after lunch. We walked around my father-in-law's wood working shop & his garden. Dad used to like to do woodworking too & always gardened so he enjoyed that. I got to spend some good quality time with daddy & he enjoyed being out & about, had a good meal & enjoyed talking with Mike's dad. I am sooooooooooooo glad we did this.
Sounds like you guys had a great day!

Took the Camaro out yesterday, grandson's birthday, on the way home got caught in some rain so I guess on my last day off I'll be washing it. Wish I could have visited my dad now 90 and living alone in NC. Tries to talk him into relocating but he wants to stay where he is for now, still drives too.

Welcome aboard. This is a fun place to hang out with great mature (but I did not say boring) Camaro comrads. Several are away on holiday but they'll be back.

I'm headed out to give Ruby a little love. Later crew.

Welcome digdeep!

I washed "Bugslayer" off this morning before it got hot out. Seems last night's ride included driving through a swarm of insects. Never saw it so bad. Glad I had a clear bra installed.

I know, it was precious. The last days we had with my Mom were not fun at all. I miss her.

We just had a lazy day at home today. I gave Ruby a little detailing, watered my flowers, ate leftovers from yesterday's cookout & sat in the garage (which has amazing acoustics) & listened to some music & watching the clouds. Another nice day. But is is back to work in the morning for a long hard 3 days with a weeks work cramed into 3 days). Then Wooooooooo Hooooooooooooooo LS Fest!

Last & first poster again! Well last night the TV in my bedroom just died. It simply won't come on at all. That is really weird. It is not all that old; maybe 5 or 6 years old - a Visio. But it is simply dead all of a sudden. Only the word Visio lights up. So I guess we will have to buy a TV now. That really messes up my morning routine. When my alarm goes off, I turn it off & the TV on & listen to the news/weather while I wake up. But I am up just the same. Coffee time! HAGD all.

Visio had a problem with power supplies a few years ago. If call the place you bought it, they might replace it or fix it under warranty even if it's past the warranty date.
