My front fascia might be delayed due to bad weather in California.

With that speed you should be able to stream off of two devices wirelessly with a good router. Let me put it this way we lease our modem/router combo from our ISP (which is very stupid but its very difficult to find a ADSL2+ modem now) and we only get a 7mb down and .5 up. With that both my laptop and my sisters can stream Netflix at the same time and both wireless but we are a few feet from the host. We also have a lot of nodes connected to our router all the time.

My ISP told me it was impossible to get over 6 at my house and because or what I did we now constantly get between 7-8 mb down. When we moved into the house over 3 years ago we only got 1.5 down which was a shock since we came from a 20mb connection.

Also do you have the older white Xbox or the newer slim black one. Only reason I ask is because they have differnet wireless standards. For example I believe the wireless adapter on the older white Xbox only got 802.11 G unlike the newer model that gets 802.11 N. obviously N is better but not only because of its potential throughoutput but Because of enhanced wireless stability and the ability to sustain a connection that is farther away and goes through more walls.

Don't even worry about upgrading for what you want to do. Really at this point you can either make that second coax cable live or find a way to run some pre made 5E cables or you could always make your own. It's pretty simple all to need are some RJ-45 ends, a RJ-45 crimper and the actual cable. The diagrams are online.

Actually as a kid I didn't have a computer with internet connection in my Room like I do now. Until I was about 10 there wasn't a computer that I could freely use in the house and even then I didn't get a computer with internet access in my room until high school. Most of the stuff i know I have gained fairly recently by either reading, doing, or dissecting peoples brains with questions.

But in all seriousness if anyone has any questions Tech related i know quite a bit about most things and really don't mind helping people out. I have now become my Family's IT guy so whenever something goes wrong I am the first person they call.

Just finished up gutting my second cat, cleaned them both with some apc/warm water. Will let them dry over night, then in the morning, put them back on with the rest of my exhaust and start the IPF install.

Great can and I've seen the people that do have it, like it. Matt @ fsp can get you a deal on one.
