I'm still waiting for Hollywood to come out and say we were all punked.

I'm gonna be real honest. After the last trilogy I thought they had left it open for a cool possibility. Joseph Gordon Levitt as a new Batman, kind of Batman Beyond thing or whatever that cartoon is where Bruce Wayne is old and more of a mentor. I mean even if Christian Bale didn't come back, I still would have liked to see that type Batman follow the Dark Knight trilogy.

What I have to say about Ben Affleck is that he has his moments, but only when he's carried by Matt Damon. I mean seriously he's a joke as an actor. I think his movies are usually pretty bad, except when he's with Matt Damon. But there is a solution for this. My next post in here will explain all.

Christian Bale and Michael Keaton brought depth to the role that I believe Ben Affleck never will. But, the same type things were said about Keaton when he was cast, until he delivered. I didn't care for Man of Steel all that much anyway. I really like Superman Returns so was disappointed they didn't continue there. Plus I thought Kevin Spacey as Lex Luther was the best thing to happen to Superman on film in a long time.

It'd sure be nice if they'd recast him in that part. But because I didn't care for Man of Steel I don't believe I'll pay $10 to see this next one. Wait for the $1.50 redbox special.

Everyone laughed when Keaton was cast in the first movie back in the day. He did a good job.

Affleck will nail it...

I have my doubts. Every movie that I've seen Affleck in was just OK to me-nothing spectacular. I did not see Gigli and I did not like Daredevil. There's only been one Superman/Cavill movie and they're already doing a Superman vs. Batman movie? Too soon. They should've kept the actor a secret and the secret should've been Bale's last appearance as Batman. We've already seen a bearded Bruce Wayne with a cane, lol.

Plenty of other actors out there and they turned to him? I don't get it. I had high hopes for this now I don't.

I've got my doubts abot this one as well. You never know, it really could actually be a major swerve by WB/DC. There are so many other choices out there and they settled on.....Ben f'n Affleck...!?

lol Y'all are a bunch of haters.
I'm going to hope for the best. Ben is a big guy at 6'4" and they have him on the same work out routine they put Henry on for the role of Superman. Ben has a strong, masculine jaw line so I think he'll be able to fill out the costume well.
he's been nominated and won a bunch of awards so I have hope he'll be able to pull it off. I'm waiting to see what the first trailer looks like
