One of the VPs of MS DID say that there aren't any hardware restrictions when it comes to 4k gaming on the Xbox One. Personally that tells me it is entirely up to the software side to create a 4k game. Unfortunately 4k resolution would take up a HUGE amount of space on a game.
They would require blu ray XL discs which hold 120 GB. Unfortunately I don't think the drives in either of them support it. Gaming in 4K simply won't be possible on the hardware. The resolution is way too high for the GPU to pump out games without losing frame rates, or having poor textures. Not to mention that you can't down load them because the HDD is way too small for 4K content. As cool as 4K is, we simply aren't there yet.

This one you can download to the HDD and also hook up external drive for more storage. Can rent for 72 hrs at 8 bucks or purchase for 30 bucks.

Games won't put out 4k quality but, the system can play back that quality so when it starts hitting shelves and doing as good as Blu ray did you will be ahead of the curve

By the time this happens the 2nd or even 3rd generation tv's will out which will be better and a lot cheaper. Look at what happened to the Blu-ray. It took years for it to become popular and main stream and by the time it did you could buy a better quality player for 1/5th the price.

That's the same as waiting till the last generation to come out and getting the best of the whole line up of tvs, there will always be something bigger and better to come out down the line that's just inevitable

Yes it does, what I was trying to say that you didn't understand is that you can even wait till the 5th gen of that tv and get a better quality then the 4th

Just like the ps4 you can wait till they release a bunch of consoles and work out all the bugs, then go and buy it or wait till they have a price cut and maybe make a slim version

It can keep going forever with quality and pricing

It's not just about price it's about having what you want, if you are getting something and you think the price is worth admission you're gunna get it

That just shows you didn't actually understand what I'm saying.

There's not going to be enough support and content for it to warrant such a purchase, just like every other tech when it first came out. When it becomes more main stream and more companies get involved with making 4k content then it will be worth the cost but this takes years. Until that time it will just be an expansive 1080 tv. It's like buying a new car and finding out that only 1 station in the whole state sales the fuel you need. You can still use it, just not to it's full potential.

I think what mr draco is trying to say is that there wont be as much content near the beginning. Like Movies and such in 4k. Why get a 4k device now when you get get it later for MUCH cheaper and when there is more content out there

Why you making fun of ford with its flex fuel???

I get what you're saying but like I was saying if you think it's worth it and the price isn't out of your range you're gunna get it

What I do might not make sense to you but the same could be vice versa, right now for me I got the money and want the upgrade, I saw this tv and the up scaling is amazing

Had it side by side with another Bravia and you can see a difference with quality and color, so to me yes it's worth the couple extra coins cause I seen it personally

Same as 1080p when I bought the TV I have now. Zero content until blue ray came on strong. Now DirectTV has a ton of 1080p content and moving into 3D.

4k is not going anywhere and it's just a matter of when you want it and how much you want to pay. 1080p TVs are rock bottom prices now, because of 4k. Some would just now be buying 1080p and others paying top dollar for 4k.

My 1080p has lasted me a long time and well worth the extra $$ getting it early. IMO
