Saleen/SMS Challenger

Looks like he got his hands on some Challengers and adding some nice looking hp numbers. I dont see any prices but they have to be ridiculous. I hope the Camaro won't be next.

WHOA!!!! 500-700hp!!! Wouldn't be a fair fight. Camaro SS vs SMS Challenger. The SMS is not Dodges work unlike the SS which is purely Chevy's. If there is a Saleen Camaro, then we have a good match. Though I wouldn't want Saleen to ruin the look of the new Camaro just like they did with the Mustang.

well i hope to some extent that he doesn't do much to the Camaro but he did make the Mustang look better

Yenko is gone, they sell hondas now.

I love th idea of a supercharged 5.7, but I wont buy one from saleen, does anyone see chrysler buying the rights for supercharger specs from saleen

I seem to recall several posts from the charger guys on a different forum a while back that went alot like this "Hemi+boost = BOOM!"

Who knows, the problem might have been fixed, although I doubt it.

well that is if you use the stock components i'm guessing... depending on the compression ratio of the hemi stock you might blow it up if you FI it...

hmm i think they chevy should go with eaton i mean i know gm has already done it for th grand prix gtp so y not the camaro

umm... that is what charges the LS9 and the LSA... eaton blowers with a single (LSA) intercooler or a double (LS9) intercooler.

those new eatons are pretty cool. 4 lobe with a crazy amount of twist. its said that it nearly eliminates blower whine - the frequencies are pushed beyond the range of human hearing. Oh, and they give the ZR1 638 hp.
