I'm guessing due to the large amount of traffic in the General Discussion forum.

Let me start off by saying that I didn't move any of your threads, but looking specifically at your 'Best Bang for the Buck', you are comparing the V6 Camaro to other cars. Thus, it is a Camaro Vs thread. If I had seen it in 5th Gen General I would have moved it myself. Similar story with your Mustang & Corvette threads. You are comparing the Camaro to another car, the place for that is Camaro VS.

Your threads asking for more info about certain modifications belong in which ever subforum is appropriate (cosmetics, exhaust, etc). Likewise, if you are asking about Wheels & Tires, it should probably go in the Wheels & Tires sub-forum.

I hope that clears things up a bit.

That makes sense I guess. I just use the "New Posts" link.

However, almost every post that I have put in the General discussion forum has been moved for no apparant reason except to simply move it. Case in point, my last post - V6 Camaro, best bang for the buck. It was moved to the comparison section. My thread didn't read V6 Camaro vs all other V6's. it was a simple statement as to why I felt the V6 Camaro was the best car for the money. It doesn't get any more general than that. I've had almost every post that I've created sent to some far off forum. Let's be fair.

How about just leave the posts alone.
I'm confused. How is this an example of an 'out of control' moderator? And how do you know it wasn't several moderators?

I am a member of a pistol collecting forum. And there's about 50 sub-forums. If you post in the 'wrong forum', you usually get a message from a mod. And if you continue, you get a warning. Just for posting in the "wrong" forum. In some threads, only photos are allowed. Not even a "wow, nice" is allowed. You break that rule, you get a talking to.

I signed up for that forum, like C5, and I agreed that anything I posted could be moved, edited or deleted. For any reason. I agreed by signing up. "Fair" is not in the agreement.

Trying to keep the site organized doesn't mean the mods are out of control. Just sayin'.

I'll simply state that we try really hard to keep the threads in the proper forums... This makes it easier for all... Some feel that anything they want to post goes in the General section... so we have to move them... It takes away from our time to browse the threads but we still do it for the good of the site....

It makes it much easier to find relevant threads with regard to what we are looking for... If we left everything on the General page threads would disappear off there so fast it would be virtually impossible to find them.... There are almost 80K members... What if all of them just posted to general...

Find the appropriate sub forum and try that...
And it wasn't a Moderator that moved your thread...
