There are roles where we can find evidence during the day.

Day Cop - Like a regular cop, but can investigate someone during the day, and is told whether they are pro-town or anti-town. Generally, when a Day Cop is present, there is at least one preventative role (e.g., 24 Hour Jailer or Mafia Roleblocker with 24 hour blocking ability) so that the Day Cop isn't immune to being blocked.

Jailer - Can choose one person each night. The targeted person is put in jail and is prevented from performing their night action, and is also protected from night actions that would have affected the targeted person. In one variant, the Jailer may operate during the day, such that the person is effectively kidnapped (and appears to have been killed), but then returns the next day.

Mediator - Can roleblock or protect someone at night, but not both. This ability is limited by the person's voting record during the day. If the Mediator has a vote recorded when the day ends, then the Mediator can't do anything during the night. The Mediator can only vote for someone and roleblock/protect if they unvote before the day ends.

Daytime Vigilante - A killer on the town's side that only kills during the day. He kills publicly by announcing "Daykill: X" in the game thread

Mafia Terrorist - A mafia member that can choose to bomb anyone during the day. If used, the bomb will kill the victim and the terrorist.

On second thought, there are mostly killing options during the day. I'd rather not take that chance.

After a quick no lynch on day one, the town wakes up from a lousy sleep. a couple people missing. Looks like overflow and Mr. Draco have been killed. They go over to Overflow's house and see that she's been killed, with what looks like the force....a choke hold to the throat. Mr_Draco was found frozen in carbonite. They thaw him out, hoping he is still alive, but no luck, he was shot with a tazer gun multiple times.

Dead - Overflow/Yoda: could stop all kill actions for one night, but targets revealed the next day, Mr_Draco/Luke Skywalker: Cop

with 10 alive, it takes 6 to lynch. Day 2 has started...
