Hmmm. Finally sucked it up and bought one of these newfangled iTrip things for my iPod touch. So far so good.

It's a little FM transmitter that plugs into the thingamajig at the bottom of your iPod and it broadcasts an FM signal. You just tune your car stereo to an open frequency and set the iTrip to broadcast at the same frequency.
