The dealership I got mine from convinced me to get mine changed there whenever I need it. They said $45 for synthetic change. Wtf I can't even get the oil for that much! As long as they don't screw anything up ill give them a shot when that time comes...
I was suppose to work today for an extra duty thing wrighting a bunch of tickets which I hate doing. But my knee is crapping out again today. I'm walking like an old lady. Plus it's been storming like hell all night and suppose to continue today. Screw that! (I was suppose to sit in a spot and write people for running the red light. Sounds fun huh)

I won't use our dealership for oil changes just because they put it on lifts in stead of just driving over a pit & they won't let me watch them. Plus where I go they let me buy the oil & filter myself (I buy it in bulk when it is on sale) & bring them in. I stand there & watch them like a hawk even though they come highly recommended & I trust them. I do like my dealership though & trust the guy who is over the mechanics. They have done some warranty work for me.

well my baby is at the dealership getting the oil change, tire rotation and 27 point inspection. its free though so yay! had an Inferno Orange SS behind me in the garage with a black matte hood and zl1 wheels. looked very nice. I'm thinking about getting the black gloss zl1 wheels on my car and doing a yellow pinstripe around the edge. Hopefully I'll be able to paint my engine cover today its taped off and everything! but man... there's clouds outside today...
lol thanks Lonestar if you weren't in TX I'd have you do it and pay you with whatever you like to drink lol

Being as I work at a dealership let me tell you Ruby that you are right to worry lol. If you only knew how many of those techs I work with that lift our cars wrong and Ive had to correct them on it. One I corrected still wouldn't listen to me but he's no longer employed there. :P They like to lift these cars by the welds instead of the subframe. You should have seen me when sears was putting my tires on and they lifted it by the welds and because of that had the lift arms actually lifting it by my ground effects package. I wanted to jump over the rail and strangle the tech. XD (Sears paid for my camarofest btw lol)
But ya its a good idea to watch them and make sure those lift legs are not on the welds of your vehicle (welds are the pinched welded places that run along the entire side of the vehicle). Next time I have the Trans Am in the air I'll take pictures of the damage that lifting by the welds on these types of vehicles can do. The TA has places where those welds are bent completely over, in one spot they are bent over a bolt even making it so that those welds would have to be re-bent to get the bolt out now. The guys in our body shop say it can also misalign body panels being lifted that way.

Was behind a truck today that was all over the road. He almost hit a telephone pole. I have to admit I was kinda hoping he would... He kept throwing rocks on my car because he'd swerve off road. So I backed way off not caring who I upset behind me.
I know it's pointless to call dispatch since we are at the edge of two counties where no deputies ever are... I just have to thank god I was behind him.. At the stop light he rear ended a car. So I call the dispatch in the county I'm in (one I dispatched for but don't work in) and tell him dude has to be drunk... Well apparently neither driver cared and both got back into their vehicles and drove off (both teenagers) the car HAD to have damage!!! The more I thought about it the worse I felt. I probably should have gotten out and told the douche to park his truck and call a ride or I'd get a deputy out there to arrest him for DUI.. I'm just not sure what my department would have wanted me to do.... If the guy said screw you and got back into his truck all I could do is shrug and hope he doesn't hurt someone... Dispatch did say they'd let the other county know to watch for him. But that's pointless. That county (one I work in) takes about 10 min just to get a call out. So yea. REALLY glad I wasn't the one he hit. I would have got straight up ghetto biotch on him!!!!

How is everyone's Wednesday going ladies? My camaro has had bad luck once again. Haha I just can't win! Bad news is at some point my car has been repainted in the trunk area and I wasn't aware of it and thy did a crappy job and left huge line of clear coat under my RS spoiler as well as they forgot to put the gasket on the spoiler. (Car was purchased brand new and dealership neglected to mention any repainting) So I have tons of paint damage done to the trunk. In fact the IOM paint has been shredded off it right down to the bare trunk lid. The good news is my warranty is fixing it yay! And I am closer to having my new work custom work done.
