This is a good decision by GM. Just because GM can design an attractive RWD performance sedan like the G8 does not mean that such a product will be a success in the Chevrolet lineup at this time or that it will earn GM additional market share. We all have to remember that the people who support it the most aren't buying it. If they were, then Pontiac might not be going away.

Instead, I hope to see this sort of high-quality design work put into cars that need a refresh, like the Cobalt, the HHR, and the Impala.

The hhr is one ugly POS. I don't know why people buy those things, or why they still have it around. I am also not a cobalt fan either. I think GM is making a mistake. This is exactly why they went down before. Lets build some ugly POS cars that very few actually like.

I think that for its price the HHR has great styling. Its cheap as hell. A nice difference from the boring competition in that price segment.

I know it's a ford, but it's damn nice looking!!

Im glad they didnt go through with the caprice... They need to smarten up and make cars that will sell a lot........ Sports cars arent in demand really right now.

The cobalt is OKAY looking and that's where it ends... The SS looks like ass to be a fast little 4banger....

And the HHR should have never been made. Ugliest car GM has made recently.... I swear, their car designers are on dope. Who wants a tiny ass mini van?!

thank god. calling it the caprice was the gayest thing they've ever done.

ive always liked GM, ive owned many of their cars. however with each passing day I enjoy owning and being loyal to Ford.

But this caprice decision is a good one. now if you woulda called it a chevelle i woulda been for it.

The HHR is a throwback miniature version of the first 50's Suburban, much in the same way the PT cruiser was. It appeals to those with a sense of nostalgia

The Caprice was always an upscale Impala for old farts in polyester slacks, that moniker needs to die

While I agree the Caprice monicker was a bad one, the car itself was an amazing automobile.
