To our police officers...question

i got pulled over today no front plate.i was given a verbal warning.but was told if he seen me again with no plate it would be a ticket. i wired it to the lower grill and ordered a hideaway bracket. he suggest i glue the factory mount to the bumper,then asked me to get out of the ar so he could see inside.i guess it was a matter of time i pass at least 5 cops a day from troopers to locals but it just takes one.

Well, normally I wouldn't run into the office and report this stuff, BUT it really goes well with this thread!!

I pulled over 3 cars this morning (that is way more than I usually do!!!) The first was a kid in a Mits Lancer He got the ticket for 80MPH in a 55MPH zone.

The next guy was in a 2009 Mustang. He got a ticket for 70MPH in the same 55MPH zone.

The last guy was in .... you guessed it... a 2010 Chevy Camaro. Yellow with black stripes. HE IS A FORUM MEMBER!! (But I will let him fess up to this one) ANYWAY....He was stopped for 92 MPH in the same 55 MPH zone. He DID NOT recieve the citation like the FORD guy did!!!

So why do you? I owe you respect for pulling me over, when you do the same thing all the time? I can't count how many times I've seen a cop speed, or make an illegal u turn, or flip there lights on to beat a redlight, then turn them right back off. 99% of police officers are the biggest hypocrites I know. So yeah when you walk up to the car being a hard ass, your gonna get lip from me. And When you write me some bullshit ticket because you got lip, I'm gonna fight it, and you damn well better have your facts straight, because I will win if you don't.

If you are polite and respectful to a cop or trooper they are likely going to let you go with a warning. I have been pulled over like 12 times in my lifetime. I have always had a PBA card and have been nice and polite to the officer. I have not gotten a ticket once in my life. *Knocks on Wood*. My brother-in-law is a cop and he said be nice and you will get away 99 percent of the time. Unless the cop is a real A-hole, and there are A-hole cops out there. Thankfully I have not run into any of them.

In my, ahem, lengthy experience with officers, I have found that if you are doing something really ****ing stupid...then you are gonna get a 'got caught doing something really ****ing stupid' ticket to help you learn a lesson.

Something that really isn't dumb, you be sincere and ask any questions you have politely and sincerely...usually officers will answer you and usually give you a warning.

I'm not gonna lie, this is BULLSHIT YOu gave the two others tickets, but someone was speeding at a much higher rate than the other two, and you let him off because of the car he drives??? This is the hypocrite I was talking about. I hope the guy in that mustang finds this post, and fries your ass for it. Way to advertise that your one of those asshole cops.

I'm sorry, but behavior as described above makes me blood boil. Double standards are stupid, no matter what the reason. How do you think the other two drivers would feel, if they knew the Camaro had got off while driing faster than them, just because of the car he was in? I know I'd be pissed.
