Hey lscamaro, I may try to install my Heritage Grille tonight (if it doesn't rain). I've read the GM instructions, all the threads and watched the videos; but do you have any tips?

Tape it. You'll thank me later. 3M blue painter's tape as wide as you like. Make sure you have enough to do it for the drive up and back.

Yes. Don't be afraid to pull because you're going to have to pull the factory grille pretty hard to get it out. It also kinda helps if you have a flathead to press on the tabs that are being stubborn. But it's essentially just pull and replace. Not hard at all. The part that will be slightly difficult will be removing the front if you've never done it before.

Cool, thanks. No, I have not ever removed the fascia before. I forgot to mention I'll be doing the Street Scene lower grille as well - the replacement style, not the overlay one. That one I hear is a little tricky because the fitment with the opening isn't the greatest. Overall, I'm thinking it'll be a 4-5 beer job

I would look around to see what they look like on the ZL1 bumper. A zl1 grille would probably look really good. But I really like the heritage grille so idk

Just don't drink the beers at the beginning or you might install the grilles in the wrong areas

On the bumper, the upper bolt by the fender is the hardest one to get. After that its easy.

So does that mean you already have the SC or it's been ordered? Or are you just selling parts to be ready? Who's doing the install and tuning? If you haven't sold the rad cover I might be interested.

I'm exceptionally jealous you're able to swing this. Even if I had the $7k or so to do it I would still be nervous. Hell I cringed when I put the hammer down on the HFCs and that was 1/10th the price. "Saving up" kinda loses its meaning when every penny you make already belongs to someone else.

Yeah yeah. Pass the cheese, it'll go well with my whine.

I'd rather have a roots-style top-mount anyway. So there.

Tungsten gray. I'm betting it's a metallic and I'm a fan of black-ish colors anyway. The stealth gray looks a bit too green to me.
