I thought of that but if I would have clean side Blow by at WOT then my throttle body and intake tube should have some oil residue in it but both my Throttle body and intake are as clean as a whistle. Which reminds me while at the fest i need to buy a recharge kit for my intake. Been meaning to buy one but cant justify paying 13 dollar shipping on a 15 dollar item :faceplam:

you can take the throttle body off or just the intake tube and open the butterfly on the throttle body with your finger and look inside.

Yup. When i painted my intake and had it apart is when i found it. You just simply have to remove the plenum cover and throttle body to check though. It;s not really necessary to remove the whole intake unless you want to do a thorough cleaning.

On mine, the breather became disconnected from the cap. It's just glued with RTV silicone. I figured some pressure built-up and popped it off (there's a check valve in the breather as well). I can understand a little oiliness due to oil vapors escaping from a hot engine, but a bunch running down the block- eh, not-so-much...

I find it easier to just remove the 4 bolts that hold the TB. Because right after the throttle body is where the dip is on the manifold and it gets a little difficult to see it with the throttle body on the manifold.

The breather has never been a solid design. Heck they are just specture breathers that you can purchase at Autozone or advanced with a check valve. I didn't even know this till Lil' Nasty pointed it out to me.

yeah, either way. you should be able to stick your finger down through the throttle body, into the drop off.

Yes, I know that as well. It pains me to think I spent $40 bucks for it when I could have modified my cap for less than half.

It must be Friday, since that sounds like more fun than it should.

Yea i was considering their 1LE style separator until all the recent things went down. I think now I'm either gonna leave the clean side stock or get the GM 1LE separator. Not quite sire how to route the lines though.
