building the sierra, looks like I would need at least the SLE package to get the same interior as the ones I posted.

Yup unfortunately GM is not a big fan of giving options to the lower packages. I actually didn't know you could get leather on the LT till I saw my dads truck

Have you ever looked at the GM card? It's a good way to add up some extra dollars in rebates for just using the card. My dad got an extra 2K off from the card because they also usually top off your earnings in the same time window as Chevy truck moth

no, I just paid off 2 credit cards. still have one more card to pay off. which is going to take a while. I would rather not use any more cards. even for small stuff to pay off right away..i just don't want the temptation there. lol I will probably end up with a Silverado. I can get government discount, chevy loyalty discount, plus whatever other discounts.

Gotcha. Usually it is right around the 10K mark of rebates even without the card. It also helps that every Chevy dealer also has a large amount of truck on the lot so they have plenty of room to move on the price.

it's pretty amazing how low they can go on trucks. makes you wonder why they don't just start at the lower price. lol

I know right. Because anyone that knows anything about Chevy knows to go and buy a truck between the months of December-March. If they lowered the MSRP by 5-6K they could sell more trucks year round. But I guess those truck that are bought outside of truck month help compensate for truck month

Why is blow-by an issue on the V6's? Is there a thread about this?
