Challenger wrecks at Road America

During the One Lap of America; the Challenger manages to wreck itself on TURN 1!!

So.....The question is: Why? Because of weight, because of chassis, because of both, or was it just trying to end its misery?

Nice one, I was thinkin driver error. Isn't the weight of the challenger close to the weight of the camaro??

I'm reminded of an issue of one of the car magazines I read way back when and they were pinning the Hennessey Viper against the Lingenfelter Z06 TT and some other Euro supercar and the Viper kept dying and eventually caught on fire.

This is most likely driver error, but I still giggle at the irony and it helps fuel my anti-Dodge passion.

The Camaro is going to weight less than the Challenger.

As for the Camaro switch comment; in the movie Vanishing Point, at the end the car is driven into an earthmover. But the movie makers switched the white Challenger for a white Camaro.
