and to top them off......fry a couple of strips of the real stuff and put them between the buns with the bacon dog......OMG ITS HEAVEN!

I kinda did that for lunch one time. I saw that there was a left-over piece of bacon from breakfast (not sure how that happened) so I nuked it & stuck it in with my hot dog. Only problem was that I had 2 hot dogs & 1 piece of bacon, and didn't feel like frying up any more.

Don't know......there was an article about 2 weeks ago in yahoo, but I didn't read it......and my wife saw an ad/preview the other day for "The View" where they were going to be discussing it, and they had a HEEPING PILE of Bacon on the table that they were all snacking on.....it looked GOOD!! the bacon, not the show...... lol


EDIT: just found the article.....guess it is primarrily from the droughts.
