CNN now has a better version of it where they zoomed this video a bit (no longer Vertical Video Syndrome).

It's currently right on the front page.

Damn...

I heard a rumor that a few passengers were rescued out of San Francisco Bay. Nobody's sure if they got dumped into the water by the crash or if they jumped in because of the fire.

This link includes the better video as well as information about what the crew was saying right before the crash. Sounds like they were stalling and went to go around 1-1/2 seconds before the impact.

Pilot was in training apparently, first time landing a 777 at SFO.
First Officer was the Flight Instructor.

Yep. They're now saying that the girl that died got ran over by emergency vehicles when she was escaping the plane.

In all seriousness I wouldn't be surprised. Considering they had a United 747 parked right next to the accident scene, bits of the arse end of a 777-200(?) all over the threshold and panicked people running everywhere rather than being gathered and escorted from the wreck by flight crews before the crash trucks arrive..

Heck half of the people that died at Tenerife in 1977 died because emergency personnel had no idea what was going on or any real grasp on the situation and there was no assistance from either flight crews because they were kinda dead. However on the other side of the coin you have United 232 (Souix City, IA) where the triage centers and emergency help actually were the reason many were saved (and a recent drill that week prior to the crash - it's argued there shouldn't have been survivors if not for the training exercises.)

Plane crashes are never cut and dry but in the end with 2 deaths out of 200+ people on board that aircraft WITH a fire that consumed the fuselage from the inside out (the WORST kind of fire in aviation) this is a bittersweet but good day nonetheless for Asiana, SFO, and Boeing.

This is great for Boeing IMO. Their most safest plane performed extremely well in a violent crash like this, and it was all pilot error.

Correct this is noted in the NOTAM for SFO the crew would have had this information when they planned the trip and tuned in for the ATIS for SFO. The ILS has been INOP since 6/1/13 with hundreds of plnes using 28R & L daily with no issues.

The NTSB reported that the T-7 was going 103 kts far below the normal approach speed of 136kts (typical is 136-149 kts) for a T-7 depending on current wx and aircraft weight and config. As soon as the stick shaker engaged the aircraft was doomed because of the altitude of the aircraft. From the looks of the video it's almost as if the crew thought the RW light pier that extends out from 28R/L miss took that as the runway. Once the NTSB interviews the crew they will have a better understading what happened.
