1) this car "may" get 94mpg... downhill... with a hurricane force tailwind... doing 54mph.
2) the batteries in the Prius are more harmful to the environment than the emissions of a Tundra are. 3) did you know that if you are driving 54mph, you can get 70mpg out of the Prius? did you know that if you're driving 56mph, you're only going to get 34mpg? interesting, huh? 4) there aren't 300k tree huggers per year capable of buying these idiotic manchines 5) how long do you think it will be before the original Prius battery packs start going bad and the truth about these crap cars comes out?

Tell me...which would your rather drive...a Prius or a BMW 520? Read the story.
http://www.technoride.com/2008/03/bm...us_in_econ.php Okay, we could get into price for the vehicle and all, but that will always be an issue...there will always be someone out there that just wants the cheapest POS they can get, regardless of looks. The main point of all of this is that the Prius isn't all that Toyota is making it out to be. |

This is what I have been saying for years... not to mention the batteries will probably cost more than what you saved in fuel versus driving a corolla. Some people are just too dense to understand these things.

Okay I didn't read any other post but the OP ( I plan to after I post this ) There is no way in heck that the U.S. Government will allow a yota in this country like that. I mean come on? We're supposedly workin to get the 30's here lol and a 94?!?!
Im not downing it, I think it'd be good but in all reality if it is allowed in the country the gas powers of the world will cry out because of all the prius's One thing left to say ........ Take that OPEC

I dont care if the batteries are made of baby seals and California Condors, mileage anywhere near that mark and a decent price means a new daily driver for me.
MPG isnt a big deal for my toys but for a DD, mileage is king.
