Depending on what muffler, then yes he may be right. Yes, a muffler makes things quieter. Except everyone thinks it makes them louder because oem systems are so quiet to begin with. But a muffler makes things louder in relation to no exhaust muffler.

Well I see.. I think my cherry bomb probably dont stop much sound as they are small.. compared to like borla or magnaflow.. oh well I'll have a video next sat or sun.. we shall see..

He said it's not cheap lol. I think it might be a spa day but the girlfriend thing wouldn't make sense.. I know all my friends lol.

The resonated x pipe will definitely quiet things down but will it be too quiet? I doubt it. My uncle had the cherry bomb system and his was insanely loud after headers

By insanely u mean worse than before the headers??? Cruz that cat back is bad with stock manifolds... also by insanely u need good or bad sounding?? Finally did he by chance got a resonated x pipe??? Hahaha long shot but hey if u have heard the setup before u r the best person I can ask before I pull the trigger..
