That was my next question, are you going to be installing everything even with the noises from the engine?

Well the noises stopped when I pulled the spacer off. I am 95% certain that is where the noise was coming from. I will be ordering a second gasket so I can sandwhich the spacer between two gaskets and not worry about the RTV. My headers and exhaust will go on after I get them painted in header paint. Im at 83K miles so I may wait until I am closer to the 100k mile mark

I used two gaskets and put a thin layer of RTV to ensure the seal. So far so good and that was probably 10,000 miles or so ago.

omg so mean.......to yourself lol Not that I'm for the LFX of anything but when I did a high flow cats install with a friend, it was A LOT easier...by far than my install no comparison...
