So, what was your first car and when did you get it? What are some awesome memories you have with it?

Mine was a '94 Jeep Wrangler and I got it in November '05. The way the heater drained out water was a rubber hose that ran right near the engine and always got sealed shut by the heat, so whenever it rained, you'd just see water start spurting out of the defroster or you'd take a corner and have like a gallon of water pour out all over your feet. Totally sucked then, but kinda funny to think back on now.

What was the car that started it all for you ?

69 Camaro SS.
I was still a month shy of my 15th birthdaywhen I bought it. Got my license the day I turned 15. Back then in New Mexico if you had taken drivers ed, you could get a full license at 15. The car was BAD ASS! I always regeted selling it (long story). Always loved the 1st gens, so when the 5th gen concept came out, that was it. I had to have one. I still miss the hell out of the 69, but having a 5th gen is making up for it big time.

My 1978 Ford F-150, 4x4 400m, c6 auto, np 205 transfer case, 33" a/t tires. Still drive it every time I go home on leave, runs like a champ, and has good power. I bought it at age 17 with my own money, in 2005, and paid for the insurance, gas, and every bit of maintenance.

It was a 69 Cutlass. Red with white seats. It was in 1974 and I was 16. Worked my butt off on my Uncles farm to buy her for $1,000. Sold her a year later for $1,000 and bought my 68 Camaro.

It was destiny. My brother had a second gen Z/28, my sister had a Trans Am, and the first car I bought my own is my current fourth gen. V6. The Jeep was my father's and he wasn't really using it, so I wound up with. Even though it had it's quirks, I absolutely loved that thing. I mean, sure, I had to jimmy rig practically every component of it, but it was MY Jeep.
